The Mission Mandate (Matthew 10)
"The Mission Mandate" based on the book of Matthew chapter 10. Matthew 10 outlines Jesus' commissioning of his twelve disciples, instructing them to go out and preach the gospel, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, and drive out demons. He warns them of the challenges they will face, including persecution and betrayal, but assures them of God's protection and provision. Jesus emphasizes the importance of prioritizing their mission above all else, even familial ties, and encourages them to rely on God's Spirit for wisdom and guidance. The chapter concludes with Jesus exhorting them to boldly proclaim the message of the kingdom of heaven, promising that those who receive them will be blessed.
